This is a reminder that that Jummuah timings are changing. at the Thunder Bay Masjid.

The first jummuah will be at 1:00 PM.

The second jummuah wil be at 2:00 PM.

Friendly reminder that there are two jumma timings at Thunder Bay Masjid are as follows:

1st Jumma Khutba: 2:00 PM
1st Jumma Prayer: 2:25 PM

2nd Jumma Khutba: 3:15 PM
2nd Jumma Prayer: 3:30 PM

Eid-ul Adha Moonsighting 2022

Thunder Bay Masjid will follow Saudi Arabia for Moon-sighting.

Thunder Bay Masjid will follow the Crescent council of Canada for Moonsighting.

There were no reliable sightings of the new crescent today (29th Ramaḍān/ 30th April) across the international horizons. Accordingly, ‘Eid Al-Fitr will be on Monday 2nd of May, 2022 In-sha Allah.
We wish everyone a blessed conclusion of Ramaḍān with one final day of fasting and a joyful and safe ‘Eid Al-Fiṭr.
We are aware of reported sightings in Afghanistan, Niger and Mali, however they were before conjunction.

In accordance with Thunder Bay district health unit and government of Ontario, All prayers congregations are open to the public. However, Mask / Face covering is recommended, not required.
